Rates

(All figures are exclusive of VAT)

Sums are by default split equally between the parties.

There are 2 elements:

1. the Deposit which shall be paid as cleared funds at least 48 hours before the Mediation is scheduled to commence and
2. Additional charges - normally occurring due to the Mediation lasting longer than the standard period

a)   The Deposit

For a standard mediation of 8 hours the following charges apply:

The deposit includes travel time (in England and Wales) and 3 hours preparation. Please discuss the amount of paperwork you propose to be send for reading.

Travel expenses are charged ontop and will normally be calculated in advance and included in the invoice.

b)   Additional Charges

The following extra charges may be made, calculated at the end of the mediation:

1. Time additional to the standard 8 hours: the hourly rate for extra hours is £200p/hr.
2. Hours after midnight are charged at £500p/hr.

Note

Normally the legal representatives of the parties will organise the venue and any refreshments, but if not able to do so they should contact the Mediator ASAP.
